Busy, Busy, Busy! Part 2

I have also whipped up a batch of jewelry for Roni from the Loaded Trunk.  If you are not familiar with the Loaded Trunk it is a wonderful website featuring fabulous things from Roni's travels.

I've just done a bunch of bangles from lovely beads she brought home from Thailand.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well, I have been busy!  I just sent a flock of birds (no, not seagulls!) to Bluestem in Columbia. Lovely gallery owned/run by a group of lovely artists. Plasma cut bird brooches like these...

Etsy Rules!

Finally getting my Etsy shop up and running.  It is such a lovely way to go with handcrafted goodies.  They make it really easy. Here is some Etsy goodness!

Zippy Bracelets!

I love, love, love to recycle, upcycle, repurpose, give a second chance to vintage notions.  Some bracelets for your viewing pleasure...

Button, Button Who's got The Button?

I worked on this book with Amy Barickman.  Love designing with old buttons! Yes, that's my bracelet on the cover!

Love Repurposing Notions

I can never decide what aspect of recycling/ repurposing I like best.  I LOVE using old notions, but i love using found metals.  awww, the hard choices!

I Love Zippers!

Hey! You Out There!

Hello, hello...

This is the first of what I hope will be many posts featuring my work and adventures.  Well, let's hope it's not all work and no adventures...
This is the favorite of all the jewelry I have made.  It features a mysterious photo of my hubby!  It is from the first Valentine card he ever gave me.  He made it himself, his face was obscrued by the shadow of his hat and the card read "Bet you can't guess who your number one admirer is".  Well, of course I could, I would recognize those sexy wrists anywhere!
Many years down the road, he gave me a Thomas Mann class as a birthday gift and this brooch was the result.
